error MSB8020: The build tools for Visual Studio 2010 (Platform Toolset = 'v100') cannot be found. To build using the v100 build tools, please install Visual Studio 2010 build tools. Alternatively, you may upgrade to the current Visual Studio tools by selecting the Project menu or right-click the solution, and then selecting "Upgrade Solution...". C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\V120\Microsoft.Cpp.Platform.targets 64 5 TPC30004

Proceed with the project to update the 2012 version, or that you must reinstall Visual Studio 2010. If you are using Visual Studio 2012 in all locations, please proceed with the update below.

Or you can install a set of tools for vs2010.

But the best way is install vs 2010!!

  1. I believe that the same errors were found in my case, so now I can fix quickly everything that concerns the configuration.
But for those who first came across with updates, I would recommend paying attention to msvcp120.dll missing https://fix4dll.com/msvcp120_dll From time to time, in Visual Studio 2010 updating and then 2012 stumbling block became the DLL files I had to download to fix the situation.
